Amazon.com, founded by liberal Jeff Bezos is the United States' largest online retailer.[1] After being founded in 1995, the company did not make its first quarterly profit until 2001.[1] If individuals make purchases from Amazon Smile, the company donates a portion of the sale to a charity of the buyer's choice, such as International Christian Concern.[2]
In 2014, Amazon announced that it would be partnering with Twitter, an agreement that allows individuals to make purchases using a hashtag.[3]
Amazon.com is one of the most common ways to purchase for many who practice preparedness and survivalism.
