Harold "Trey" Gowdy (born August 22, 1964 in Greenville, South Carolina) is a former federal prosecutor and the conservative Republican U.S. Representative from South Carolina's 4th congressional district, after defeating incumbent Congressman Bob Inglis by a landslide in the June 2010 primary. By 2015, Inglis was siding with liberals on their phony climate change.
Trey Gowdy was featured on at least two episodes of "Forensic Files" files before he was elected to Congress.
