This is a very strong list this year!--Andy Schlafly (talk) 23:48, 10 November 2016 (EST)
Pros and Cons of the two finalists
Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton, for which there is immense gratitude, but he has not yet chosen his nominee for the U.S. Supreme Court. Phyllis Schlafly supported and helped elect Trump, secured the most conservative Republican platform in history in Cleveland in July 2016, and laid the groundwork for the stunning outcome in 1964 with her classic book A Choice Not An Echo--Andy Schlafly (talk) 20:53, 23 December 2016 (EST)
- The Nobel Prize was wrongfully given by liberals to Barack Obama for merely winning an election. Should the standards of Conservapedia fall to that low level of liberals??--Andy Schlafly (talk) 00:19, 24 December 2016 (EST)
- Trump holds many conservative positions and right of center positions. He has been a tremendous ally of conservatives and moved the nation in a more conservative direction than many leading conservatives. He is probably going to move the Supreme Court to the right. At the same time, his views on homosexuality are not conservative. In terms of reducing the Federal deficit, like Ronald Reagan, he may fall short in this area.
- In short, Trump is not a conservative. He is a right of center politician and businessman. Therefore, Phyllis Schlafly should be the Conservapedia's Conservative of the Year in 2016. Conservative (talk) 16:57, 24 December 2016 (EST)
