Was not her name Amalie Emmy Noether, meaning this page should be moved to "Emmy Noether"? --David B (TALK) 21:41, 21 July 2018 (EDT)
- You appear to be right. Should it be moved, or should we just create redirects? Her Wikipedia page's title is "Emmy Noether", but her first name clearly is "Amalie." --1990'sguy (talk) 21:54, 21 July 2018 (EDT)
- Yes, that is her name, but many places seem to refer to her by her middle name. Perhaps that was her preferred name? In any case, it ends with a "y" not an "i." It it was her preferred name, then we could move it. Or, we could move this to her full name, and redirect from Emmy Noether. --David B (TALK) 23:12, 21 July 2018 (EDT)
