Michael Braun is a businessman and a U.S. senator from Indiana.

Braun was elected to the Senate in 2018, defeating then-incumbent Joe Donnelly and flipping a blue seat.[1]
Opposition to impeachment coup
Braun, a strong defender of Donald Trump against the House impeachment coup, has questioned Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren of ever possibly being "fair jurors".[2] He has also strongly stated the urge to get the coup "over with".[3]
Political views
Braun, a conservative, opposes abortion, supports gun rights, and supports the construction of a border wall.[4]
