Yvette Herrell (born March 16, 1964) is a real estate investor, Cherokee Nation member, and conservative Republican who served as the state representative from New Mexico's 51st district from 2011 to 2019. She successfully ran for United States House of Representatives from New Mexico's 2nd congressional district to unseat Democrat Xochitl Torres Small, having unsuccessfully challenged the latter for an open seat in 2018.

Herrell voted in March 2011 against HB 172, a bill that would prohibit the use of corporal punishment in public schools.[1]
Herrell voted in March 2013 against the lowering of corporate income tax rates.[2]
Rep. Herrell voted in February 2014 against raising the minimum wage.[3]
Being strongly pro-life, Herrell sponsored a bill in February 2015 to ban abortions after the 20th week of pregnancy statewide in New Mexico.[4]
Herrell voted in March 2017 against the statewide prohibiting of conversion therapy.[5]
