Risky RINO Removal is a term that applies to the notion of primarying Moderate Republicans or RINOs in extreme swing districts or democrat leaning districts. An example would be in Mike Castle, Mike Castle was an extreme RINO in policy (similar to Susan Collins in policy), he was successfully primaried by Christine O'Donnell, the Tea Party favorite for the race of state Senate. However, Tea Party candidates are much less electable in Delaware which cost that seat for the Republicans.[1]
A current example would be Primarying, Anti-Trump Representative, David Valadao who is in a D+5 District where Biden won by over ten points. Putting an America First Agenda Candidate would be a risky move which could cost the Republicans that seat.
