Interesting drug importation plan -- for the record, this article says conservatives don't really like it, but I don't know if this means consistent conservatives or just the GOP establishment: [1] --1990'sguy (talk) 09:22, 2 May 2019 (EDT)
Added college education
The article should state this brilliant man went to Harvard and Yale. In general, I think college should be included, especially if it looks good.
Ted Cruz 2.0?
Is DeSantis Cruz 2.0? Hopefully you know what I mean by that.--Geopolitician (talk) 15:04, January 6, 2022 (EST)
Feud With Roger Stone
Although it happened a few months ago, I only just now became aware of DeSantis' alleged behind-closed-doors mocking of Roger Stone being a convicted felon. This is according to Roger Stone himself, by the way.
In light of this, should DeSantis' alleged remarks be construed as mocking victims of Deep State tyranny? Because if they should, then it's now obvious where DeSantis stands, and whatever tags about him that point to him as being anti-establishment or even a patriot should be removed.--Geopolitician (talk) 16:57, January 16, 2022 (EST)
- Keep it up, Ron. You're getting closer and closer to a primary challenge with your cocky behavior. Trump is not gonna put up with this forever.--Geopolitician (talk) 16:59, January 16, 2022 (EST)
- Look. Republicans are not Democrats. This kind of rumor, gossip, and garbage does not interest them in the least. It has virtually no bearing, whatsoever, on judgements at the primary or general election ballot box. When will you ever figure that out and learn it? RobSLet's Go Brandon! 17:16, January 16, 2022 (EST)
- All it does it take up space and waste time. RobSLet's Go Brandon! 17:17, January 16, 2022 (EST)
- Well in this case it should have bearing on judgements at the ballot box. Because Roger Stone himself has corroborated it. So it's not a rumor.
- We now have a governor who thinks he can play games like this just because his COVID policy is so popular among conservatives. If anybody is trying to divide the base and sow discord, it's him. Trump has been way too nice to DeSantis as of late, and it's time that he start playing hardball.--Geopolitician (talk) 17:25, January 16, 2022 (EST)
- No it doesn't. In a Trump/DeSantis primary contest, Stone is a partisan coming down on the side of Trump. Secondly, in a rump/DeSantis primary contest, DeSantis would be running for the number 2 slot. Either way, it's all hypothetical. Republicans do not have their heads up their butts as Democrats do in analyzing situations like this. RobSLet's Go Brandon! 17:29, January 16, 2022 (EST)
- Yes, Stone is a partisan for Trump. So what? The way I see it, DeSantis exposed his true colors when he made those remarks about Stone. He apparently thinks Deep State tyranny is funny as long as the target is somebody he doesn't like. This more than anything else establishes that he is not a sincere conservative. He's another Ted Cruz in the making.--Geopolitician (talk) 17:32, January 16, 2022 (EST)
- Look, a week ago you had your underwear in a knot cause Ted Cruz supposedly was a closet pansie; 3 days later Cruz serves up the fact that Ray Epps and the FBI are domestic terrorists which everyone is talking about now. Even your fantasies have no context. RobSLet's Go Brandon! 23:02, January 16, 2022 (EST)
- No, that was Vince Did 7-14 who was all up in arms about Cruz. I replied to him with a much less emotion-based analysis, although I'll admit I also voiced my distaste for Cruz during that reply.--Geopolitician (talk) 18:57, January 17, 2022 (EST)
- Here is where you repeatedly err: you think conservatives and conservativism is a cult based on personalities and celebrity gossip. Sorry, it's not. And your comments not only expose yourself to suspicion as a subversive leftist infiltrator (like Ray Epps), they are insulting. RobSLet's Go Brandon! 23:09, January 16, 2022 (EST)
- Actually, both liberalism and conservatism have become more and more cult-like in recent decades. But what do you expect when people become almost naturally inclined to worship celebrities in the age of mass media?--Geopolitician (talk) 18:57, January 17, 2022 (EST)
- That being said, what's going on is beyond mere gossip. Because we have people who are very close to Trump (particularly Roger Stone) backing it up. Speaking of which, earlier today Stone posted this on his Telegram. He also made a now-deleted, even harsher version of that post on his Gab account.--Geopolitician (talk) 18:57, January 17, 2022 (EST)
- Media Reports a Trump-DeSantis Feud with No Proof of a Conflict. Why do you keep falling for fake news? Don't you realize your knee jerk reaction to commie agitprop makes you look like a Ray Epps-type figure? RobSLet's Go Brandon! 05:20, January 19, 2022 (EST)
- How are claims coming from Roger Stone commie agitprop?--Geopolitician (talk) 22:44, January 19, 2022 (EST)
- Well, this just got interesting. On the same day, Trump himself claims that he has a "very good" relationship with DeSantis[2], while his good friend Roger Stone posts this.
- If this isn't an instance of good cop/bad cop between the two of them, then Stone has embarrassed himself with these stunts. And his credibility is also damaged, perhaps to the point where we should now question whether Ron DeSantis really did say those things about Stone behind closed doors. For this reason, I'm undoing my recent edits of the article. For now.--Geopolitician (talk) 19:04, January 20, 2022 (EST)
- Asked and answered. Another thing you apparently fail to realize is DeSantis, Trump, and Stone are all residents of Florida. This is a local issue, and not national. RobSLet's Go Brandon! 19:41, January 20, 2022 (EST)

- Hey, Sundance just did a recap and update on the Deep State. Sure, some of it may seem redundant if you've been following Sundance the past 2 years or so, but this one is worth reading. [3] RobSLet's Go Brandon!`

See these tweets.--Geopolitician (talk) 19:00, February 20, 2022 (EST)

- You seem to be under the impression Trumpism, the MAGA movement, or America First is some sort of cult. RobSLet's Go Brandon! 20:27, February 20, 2022 (EST)
- To some extent, it is. Just like all political movements with a central figurehead, be it Clinton or Sanders or Biden, and yes, DeSantis. In fact, the cult following the DeSantis has been gathering is what made me suspicious of his motives in the first place.--Geopolitician (talk) 22:42, February 20, 2022 (EST)
- Central figure? It's only a central figure cause you perceive it as such. I rarely see you being able to discuss policy or ideas without making conflicting and contradictory claims, even if it means demonizing leftist figures such as Zbigniew Bziezinski.
