Aaron Judge is the outspokenly Christian outfielder for the New York Yankees who set the American League single-season home run record of 62 in a 162-game season, breaking the prior record set by Roger Maris that had stood for 61 years.[1]
Judge is ethnically bi-racial and was adopted at birth.
His favorite Bible verse is "For we walk by faith, not by sight."[2]

- ↑ Although three players have hit more than 61 home runs in a season, all three -- Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa, and Barry Bonds -- were National League players, and are universally considered to have done so by using anabolic steroids, which although not illegal at the time provided an athletic advantage; baseball purists thus consider Maris to have previously held the legitimate Major League single-season home run record, and would now consider Judge the legitimate record holder.
