The Divinity of Jesus Christ refers to the fact that Jesus Christ, the prophesied Messiah, was already declared to be Divine in the Hebrew Scriptures, and further taught, along with His Apostles, the early Church fathers, and early Christian saints, that He was the divine Son of God. The Psalms of King David and the Prophet Isaiah had declared Christ to be God.
