A Ghost is a person alive after death manifesting himself to the living. Their existence is disputed. Travel agents in Britain claim that it has the highest concentration of ghostly hauntings and other paranormal activity of anywhere in the world.[1]
"Ghosts" in this sense are not biblical, and Christianity rejects the concept of a human ghost.
Ghosts, according to those who believe in them, may be the result of violent deaths, as a result of which the deceased's soul is left wandering the earth instead of transmigrating to Heaven, Hell, or someplace in between (Probation). This lost soul would thereby struggle to interact with earthly beings in order to avenge its death, or to explain what happened to it.

In a video entitled Yes, atheists CAN believe in ghosts, although Mehta disagrees with them, Mehta points out that there are atheists who: believe in ghosts, believe they have a soul, read tarot cards and read their horoscopes daily.[2] According to Mehta, merely not believing in the existence of God, strictly speaking, does not close the door to other supernatural beliefs.[3]
