Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the Emancipation Proclamation ending slavery in the United States.[2]
Muhammad Ali is a descendant of the escaped slave depicted in the Emancipation Memorial in Washington, D.C..[3] The Emancipation Memorial depicts a runaway slave being freed from the yoke of oppression by the Great Emancipator, Abraham Lincoln. In recent years white Marxist agitators have defamed and defaced monuments of the first Republican president who also freed the slaves.[4]
