Machiavellianism (psychology) does not appear in the DSM V. And there's only one vague, passing reference to "so-called 'drama queens'" (an extraordinarily sexist reference for a psychiatric manual, I might add) in Histrionic personality disorder. Not enough to establish any kind of scientific basis. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 19:13, September 11, 2023 (EDT)
- Not all psychological theories are in the DSMV. The DSMV is not some kind of infallible book. Science doesn't work that way - including the social science of psychology. The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition, is the 2013 update to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, the taxonomic and diagnostic tool published by the American Psychiatric Association. That is just one psychological association in the USA/world. Psychology/psychiatry is an internationally practiced social science.Conservative (talk) 20:33, September 11, 2023 (EDT)
