Psychobabble

Psychobabble is pseudo-psychological jargon, and particularly that which is not sanctioned by the authoritative DSM. In practice, psychobabble is often used in rhetoric by atheists and liberals so as to make ad hominem attacks on conservatives.
Psychobabble is not to be confused with psychological satire, as psychobabble is intended to be entirely serious.
