Frédéric Mitterrand
Frédéric Mitterrand served in French government as culture minister during period 23 June 2009 – 16 May 2012. He is the nephew of the late Socialist president François Mitterrand. In 2009, Marine Le Pen challenged Mitterrand to resign after it emerged that he had admitted to paying for sex with 'young boys’ while on holiday in Thailand.[1]
Taking advantage of sexual tourism
In his 2005 book, autobiography “The Bad Life” , Mitterrand, wrote: “I got into the habit of paying for boys...All these rituals of the market for youths, the slave market excite me enormously. One could judge this abominable spectacle from a moral standpoint, but it pleases me beyond the reasonable. ... The profusion of very attractive and immediately available young boys puts me in a state of desire that I no longer need to hinder nor hide...as I know that I will not be refused.”[1]
