Infrastructure
Infrastructure describes the systems of support of a society. It includes, but is not limited to, the roads, hospitals, schools, public amenities, universities, railways and other vehicles that help support a healthy or growing economy.
Liberals use "infrastructure" deceptively in legislation in order to advance crony capitalism, radical environmentalism, and outright handouts to their political supporters.
Some economists, such as Adam Smith argue that the supply of infrastructure is the nation state's primary purpose. For example, the food distribution system includes transportation (trucks, ships, railroad, and airplanes), warehousing (such as Amazon.com, Costco), and retail facilities (such as Wal-Mart and grocery stores) which move food from the food production system to consumers.

Infrastructure can be said to broadly include the following systems of support:
- Water system
- Food distribution system: Stores, Retail and Just in Time distribution systems
- Food production system: Modern industrial big Agri-business versus Permaculture
- Economic system
- Energy system including the Power grid
- Education system
- Legal system
- Law enforcement
