- My local 7-11 attracts all sorts of weird people, too. RW has processes to deal with unwanted or abusive editors, not just arbitrary blocking by anyone with blocking powers. I'm not sure what we disagree about.

Liberals/leftists obsessed with Conservapedia are like a dog with a bone. Their dogged persistence in thinking about Conservapedia, discussing Conservapedia and making forecasts about Conservapedia is quite prodigious and intense.

- I fixed it Andrew. I suggest making friends in your own community if you have not done so already. And possibly blogging if you still want to write online. If you continue your efforts at RationalWiki, you will become more and more like them. The wiki has a history of malevolent people. And there have been some notable instances of people there who are mentally unstable at that wiki. - If you want to curb your RW usage and realize it is a hindrance in your life, then switch to Wikipedia for a while. Then taper down your Wikipedia usage where you do less and less Wikipedia editing each day. Like set a limit on how much Wikipedia editing you do each day and make it less and less each day until it's gone. Another alternative is to go "cold turkey" and abruptly end your RationalWiki and other wiki editing.

- Also, speaking as a person who knows something about web marketing, RationalWiki is currently bleeding inbound links at a fast clip and it also lost some search engine traffic in December (see: RationalWiki and web traffic). Both of these developments may be a sign of future web traffic loss. RationalWiki has 7,000+ pages of web content, but not enough editors to keep the content updated. RationalWiki is in a downward spiral that is more concerned with the ideological purity of its editors rather than the quality of its editors. So the future of that wiki is grim. On top of this, the politically left-of-center faction of USA politics in the USA is probably going to suffer some bruising defeats in 2022 so that might be a demotivator in terms of volunteers. So if you are looking for people to actually read your content in the future, RationalWiki is not a good place to post content.
- As far as RW's online forum (The Saloon bar), according to the book Click On Democracy: The Internet's Power to Change Political Apathy into Civic Action, "Peter Kollock and Marc Smith, editors of Communities in Cyberspace, online chat groups tend to be anarchistic or a dictatorship, depending on how well moderated they are."(Click On Democracy: The Internet's Power to Change Political Apathy into Civic Action, page 5, by Steve Davis, Larry Elin and Grant Reheer, Westview Press, 2002). The talk pages and "Saloon Bar" discussion areas of RationalWiki fall on the dictatorship part of the moderation spectrum. The problem with this approach is that it is not a viable way to bring in new editors.
- I also have another suggestion that I am doing myself. It involves replacing less profitable activities for more profitable ones. For example, in 2022 I am expanding my work hours and upgrading some skill sets I have. Since you have an interest in writing, perhaps you might want to peruse this list of classic books on how to write better that is located HERE. I plan on reading some of those books in the next 3-5 years. And now that the pandemic is becoming less lethal via a less deadly variant, I would like to resume my gym membership in either 2022/2023. In the meantime, it is unfortunately going to be aerobic routines and calisthenics. Plus, I have a book on karate so perhaps that will be more fun (In the past, I was a member of a martial art school. It is a great way to get in shape.). - Andrew5, that is a lame excuse. The Discord gives people an outlet to bring out their true selves. Jesus said, "The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks." (Luke 6:45 ESV). After all is said and done, either what they wrote about you is true or it is not. If it is true, then they should have confronted you at their wiki rather than engage in gossip.
