Since the Mormon Twelve Apostles discussed are not the same as the traditional Twelve Apostles but are unique to the Mormon Chuch, perhaps they should constitute a separate article? The Twelve Apostles (Mormon)? Learn together 02:52, 3 March 2008 (EST)

- Well, not all the "classical paintings" convey an accurate portrayal. For example, most of them depict Jesus and the people of His day as light-skinned when they were Middle Eastern Jews. And the Apostles, with the likely exception of Matthew and Peter, evidently weren't grown adults, let alone advanced in age, during Jesus's ministry. —
