Indophobia is the form of racism which refers to the dislike, or hatred, of, oppression of, fear of, and discrimination or discrimination against, and other negative feelings against India, its people and its culture.

The openly left-wing UK Labour Party has been described as "anti-Indian".

List of Indophobes

Below is a select list of people known to express anti-Indian views.

  • Wajahat Ali, liberal columnist, described neocon Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley as an "alpha-Karen with brown skin" being used to "launder white supremacy".[1]
  • Joe Biden, disputed 46th President of the United States, has made multiple derogatory comments about Indians and Indian Americans (see Joe Biden's racist history).
  • Jameela Jamil - far-left virtue signaller, known for using the racist anti-Indian slur "coconuts" to describe the British-Indian politicians Suella Braverman, Priti Patel and Rishi Sunak.[2]
  • Humza Yousaf, racist Islamic socialist ruler of Scotland (2023-), accused by the Indian Council of Scotland for stoking racial tensions between Muslims and Hindus.[3]
