Talk:De-dollarization
3 reasons the dollar can't be dethroned as the world's dominant currency, according to Morgan Stanley, Business Insider, June 11, 2024.
Fortune magazine, May 2024: "In foreign exchange markets, the dollarâs value is strong right nowâthe greenback has more buying power than itâs had for almost 20 years."[1]

- When you learn the difference between an investment advisory pitchman and a foreign policy expert, we'll talk.
- Right now, I'm not interested in buying into Blackrock or a Vanguard Group fund.
- And the liberal claptrap you post based on exchange rates not only is unconnected with the underlying causes of the ongoing de-dollarization process, it only serves to show you haven't a clue what you are talking about. RobSThe Truth. Just Putin It Out There 18:29, July 25, 2024 (EDT)

- The US dollar is making impressive gains relative to the Russian ruble as can be seen by this chart. The US dollar is doing great compared to the Chinese yuan as well as can be seen via THIS Chart. - Update: Who is de-dollarizing now? Who is responsible for rising interest rates? China? No. Europe.
The threat of secondary sanctions on countries purchasing Russian oil will only accelerate de-dollarization and the growth of BRICS.
Btw, the US Navy, which buys Russian oil, would be exempt from those sanctions. RobSZelensky Must Go! 20:07, May 3, 2025 (EDT)

Update
I think shortly Andy & User:Conservative are going to see the focus of geopolitics and foreign policy shift from Russian gay bathhouses to the economy.
- Deutsche Bank appointed as RMB Clearing Bank for Europe. First European bank to receive the designation, strengthening China-Europe financial connectivity.
Short read: This will allow European and other customers to escape Russian sanctions.
Alternatively, the US Congress and EU Commission could place one of Europe's largest banks on the sanctions list. Economic sanctions is really just putting your finger in the dyke to impede the march of freedom, capitalism, and free markets.
