Cyrus lived 576-529 BC. He was King of the [[]] and is also called Cyrus the Great. He established the Achaemenid dynasty. He is famous for conquering Babylon and sending the Jews back to their homeland, Israel. Cyrus was the father of Darius, another great Persian emperor.
