Big Media

Big Media refers to mainstream media news, email and communication companies. They principally are: Comcast, Newscorp, Disney, Viacom, Time Warner and CBS.
Each holds several subsidiary organizations. The largest belonging to each are:
- Comcast owns NBC, Universal Pictures, Focus Features;
- Newscorp owns Fox, Wall Street Journal, New York Post;
- Disney owns ABC, ESPN, Pixar;
- Viacon owns MTV, Nicklodean, Paramount Pictures;
- Time Warner owns CNN, HBO, Time magazine;
- CBS owns CBS News, Showtime, Smithsonian Channel.
