The Trumpian Gospel is the Gospel of Mark, which is anti-Establishment in several ways, criticizing Rome and even implicitly criticizing the Apostles. The Gospel of Mark bluntly expresses conservative populism not embraced by other Gospels, similar to how Donald Trump does likewise in the political realm.

For example, only the Gospel of Mark quotes Jesus for his fundamentally populist statement that:

The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.

Over the years many attempts to place the Gospel of Mark within the sphere of the Apostles and early church leaders do not withstand scrutiny. [[category:Essay]
