The Office of Inter-American Affairs. The Office for Coordination of Commercial and Cultural Relations between the American Republics (OCCCRBAR) was established in 1940 to promote increased inter-American cooperation, especially in commercial and economic areas. It was renamed Office of the Coordinator of Inter-American Affairs (CIAA) in 1941 and Office for Inter-American Affairs in 1945.
