The Miami Marlins are a Major League Baseball team located in Miami, Florida. The original name of the club, the Florida Marlins, was changed on November 11, 2011. They play in the National League East Division.

The team began playing at Marlin Park, a new stadium, during the 2012 season.

Until 2020, the team had the unique distinction of never losing a playoff series: it made the playoffs in 1997 and 2003, both times as a wild-card berth, but won the World Series both times. The streak ended in 2020 when (again as a wild card) it lost to division rival Atlanta Braves in the National League Division Series.

World Championships: 2 (1997, 2003)

National League Pennants: 2 (1997, 2003)

Playoff Berths: 3 (1997, 2003, 2020)
