Pratt & Whitney

Pratt & Whitney is an American research and engineering company owned by United Technologies which develops aeronautical equipment—primarily aircraft engines. They were founded by Francis Pratt and Amos Whitney in 1925.[1] To this day, they are responsible for creating many of the engines used by American commercial and military airplanes.[2]
