Pratt & Whitney
Pratt & Whitney is an American research and engineering company owned by United Technologies which develops aeronautical equipment—primarily aircraft engines. They were founded by Francis Pratt and Amos Whitney in 1925. To this day, they are responsible for creating many of the engines used by American commercial and military airplanes.
