The President of Chile is the head of the Chilean Executive Branch, head of state, and the head of government.

Current president
The current President of Chile is Gabriel Boric Font who assumed at the age of 35.
Election
The president is elected every four years by the Chilean people, through a popular vote ratified by the Electoral Service of Chile (SERVEL). It cannot be reelected in consecutive terms, but can on separated terms.
President who served the longest time

President Augusto Pinochet Ugarte served almost 17 years in a period in which Chile developed heavily. In time he is followed only by Presidents Joaquín Prieto, Manuel Bulnes, Manuel Montt and Joaquín Pérez, whose terms lasted a decade each.
