Raul M. Grijalva (born February 19, 1948 in Tucson, Arizona) is the Democratic party representative from Arizona's 3rd Congressional District in the U.S. House, first elected in 2012. He became chairman emeritus of the Congressional Progressive Caucus in 2019.

Grijalva endorsed the anti-capitalist Occupy Wall Street movement and sponsored of the totalitarian Green New Deal and Medicare for All bills. Grijalva paid out $48,395 to a female staffer with taxpayer money in a settlement for creating a hostile work environment.

Career

Formerly he served five terms as the representative for Arizona's 7th district. Grijalva is the longest-serving member of Arizona's congressional delegation to the 116th Congress. He is a member of the Education and the Workforce Committee and Natural Resources Committee.
