The concept of a place where "people can be sure no one has a gun" has always been absurd [[left wing]] "[[unicorn]] [[utopia]]" [[wishful thinking]] [[pollyanna]] [[fantasy]] of the [[:Essay:Anti-self-defense movement|Anti-self-defense movement]], for the simple reason that [[criminal]]s by their nature ''never'' follow laws. The [[United States]], [[Europe]] and most recently [[liberal]] [[Paris]] at [[Charlie Hebdo]]'s offices have seen a number of [[mass murder]]s and [[Muslim]] [[jihad]] [[terrorist]] attacks occurring in such zones.

Can you expect [[Islam]]ic [[execution]] squads in your town soon? Maybe. They likely will be in-country nationals who respond to Islamic [[Anti-Americanism]] [[propaganda]] to "fight in place." But I think terrorists and criminals in general might find [[American]] cities, especially in the West (such as [[Arizona]], [[Utah]], [[Alaska]], or the [[American Redoubt]] area of [[Idaho]], [[Wyoming]], [[Montana]]) and the South ([[Texas]], [[Arkansas]], [[Oklahoma]], [[Florida]]) , much more hazardous to their [[evil]] operations.
