Talk:Red eagle politics

Request to delete heading

I was contacted by Red Eagle Politics himself and requested the page be deleted. I tried to delete most of the page but the heading remains.

Could anyone help me with deleting it? Thanks Updatewithfacts (talk) 18:27, June 8, 2021 (EDT)

I just added in a deletion template, so we'll see what happens. Northwest (talk) 18:38, June 8, 2021 (EDT)

Two questions: (a) what is "alternative history"? (b) was it necessary to dox his real name and place of residence? RobS^{Free Kyle!} 18:47, June 8, 2021 (EDT)

Hi RobSmith. I did not intend to dox him. The only reason I brought up his real name was due to having his real name show up in interviews: that is one of the very few exceptions where I will put out a person's name. In pretty much all other cases, I respect privacy and strictly use the username. I also (to be fair) did not dox his place of residence. I mentioned he was from Michigan but did not put his address or anything like that. I only put that in order to add a little information on his personal life and providing a partial reason why he will mention Michigan politics more often than other states. As for the alternative history, he sometimes did videos on purpose where he did "what if" elections: one example he did was what if Nixon won the 1960 election. I am a fan of Red Eagle and was trying to create a page about him but he reached out to me and asked me to delete it so I decided to be respectful :) I do wish to apologize if I give any impression that I approve of doxing where a person's street address is posted online but I only mentioned his state. Northwest; thanks so much for that :) I am still pretty new and was having trouble deleting the heading. I actually tried to give a proper thank you on your talk page but my computer kept glitching on letting me publish it or something . Updatewithfacts (talk) 23:26, June 8, 2021 (EDT)
