"Personal essays on topics relating to Wikipedia are welcome in your user namespace," according to Wikipedia policy. In May, there was a [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard/IncidentArchive797 huge discussion about it] and it was finally rev-deleted. A feminist oversighter blocked me a couple of weeks later. At the time, there was some handwaving and a lame rationale about edit warring. Wikipedia may boast that it is not censored, but that apparently doesn't apply to user essays poking fun at feminism, as you can see from this discussion. You can read the full story of how I was banned here. If anyone wants to draw a larger lesson, I would say that if there is a serious conflict between a liberal editor and a conservative editor, the Wikipedia solution is to ban the conservative. Judging from my case, that applies even when the liberal editor is being malicious and vindictive, and the conservative is a top contributor.
