Deb Haaland is the Democratic representative of New Mexico's 1st district. Haaland is half Norwegian and an enrolled member of the Laguna Pueblo, and considered one of the first two Native Americans to serve in the U.S. Congress. Haaland is a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus and is a supporter of the totalitarian Green New Deal.
