The Miami Dolphins are a National Football League (NFL) team based in Miami Gardens, Florida. They are members of the American Football Conference (AFC) East Division.
History and League Success
The team began playing in the American Football League as an expansion team in 1966.
The Dolphins have appeared in five Super Bowls, winning two (1972 and 1973). Their 1972 win completed an undefeated season, the only team in the post-merger era to complete the entire season (regular and postseason) without a loss. The 1973 appearance made them the first team to appear in three consecutive Super Bowl games.
