Alex Karp is an American oligarch and co-founder of the surveillance giant Palantir Technologies. Karp is in the forefront of promoting the idea of letting artificial intelligence decide to kill a human being in combat. Karp famously had an alleged cocaine-induced nervous breakdown in a Live broadcast on CNBC television.[1] Karp remarked that AI will make him 20 times richer while American middle class families stagnate.[2]

In August 2026 Karp said he and fired Defense Minister of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov have been collaborating jointly for over 5 years, according to the statement made by Karp.[3][4] That means the Palantir-Ukraine relationship pre-dates the Russian military advance into Donbas.
In June 2022, the New York Times reported that the CIA and Pentagon special forces were organizing and conducting the NATO war in Ukraine from a secret operation center in Kyiv.[5]
