Dinks (or dinkies) is a pop socio-economic term derived from dual income, no kids which refers to high-earning marriedcouples without children who prefer to spend their income on a self-indulgent lifestyle rather than accepting the responsibility of bringing up a family. If they don't want children it is quite likely that any children they would have would be unloved and unhappy.
