Disagree. (It is a very good article, well written and reasoned. My primary concern, looking at it within the context of the featured article is that it is more of an "opinion piece" and I felt that on those grounds it did not really suit my criteria for a "featured article". Where I do think it could be used, would be under the mainpage's "Highlighted article", which would mean that not only could it be featured for longer, but would be more in line with the aims of that section.)--KotomiT^nandeyanen? 03:19, 7 April 2009 (EDT)

Agree. This is a superlative and positive-message essay. --₮K_/Admin^/Talk 06:28, 8 April 2009 (EDT)
Neutral. Like Jessica, I have mixed feelings. I think it's an interesting and well-argued premise and so I think it should be featured. However, I also feel featured articles should be mainspace and not essay space. Perhaps we could have a featured essay? Since there are fewer essays than articles, such a section would not have to be changed as frequently. -Foxtrot 06:47, 8 April 2009 (EDT)
