Romantic Values are conservative values that originated from the Romanticism time period. As the ideas from this era were to enhance society's value through self-reflection and returning to the old ways. [1] They include;
- Individualism
- Idealism
- Creativity & Imagination
- Inspiration
- Intuition
- Respect for Beauty
- Celebration of Nature
- Embraced Rural Life
- Patriotism
- Nationalism
- Charity
- Skeptical of human reason
- Rejection of Statism
These values embrace the American Dream with the belief that you can succeed as an individual and thrive by expressing one’s emotions and ideas. [2]
