Well, since you brought it up, I have accepted Jesus Christ, I believe in the US constitution, I believe in the 2nd Amendment, I am pro-military, I am Patriotic toward America, and I want all of the tags on my user page that show this. Shobson20 (talk) 16:54, 26 December 2017 (EST)

Okay, that shouldn't be too difficult. If you want to learn about userboxes and browse the existing options, you will want to look here: Conservapedia:Userboxes. Or, if you prefer, you can just use the applicable code I have on my profile page.

First, you need a container, so put {{userboxtop|About Me}} on the top, and {{Userboxbottom}} on the bottom (other page content goes after this). The "About Me" message on the opening tag can be changed to whatever you prefer. Then, just load in the userboxes you want. I am using {{User Christian2}} to say I am a Christian, and {{User American}} to display my patriotism. I don't have a box specifically for the Constitution, expect for the limited government one: {{User limited govt}}. You can use that, or use this more straightforward one: {{User Constitution}}. Regarding the second amendment, I assume you are specificly talking about the right to have and bear arms. For that, you would probably want to use {{User progun}}. For the military, you probably want {{User patriot}}.

I think that covers everything, but if I missed anything, let me know. Also, feel free to look around for others you might like by clicking through the categories.

Troll blocking

Surprisingly, it's been 5 days since CP has had a troll blocked. Shobson20 (talk) 01:27, 15 June 2018 (EDT)

They come and go in waves. I'm sure they will be back, but that's no problem. We'll deal with them as we always do, when they return. Also, I don't know how much this has been helping, but I've been blocking many IP addresses (using my bot) which can be used for sock accounts.

Are those IP addresses used on VPNs? Someone who uses a VPN can use alter their IP address at will to get around IP address blocks.Shobson20 (talk) 22:37, 15 June 2018 (EDT)

Yes, only full administrators can do that. You can ask admins like Karajou or Aschlafly to do specific hides, if needed. --David B ^(TALK) 21:51, 15 June 2018 (EDT)

Regarding trolls coming and going in waves, this is true. The worst of it most often comes in the summertime, when school is out and some kids are bored and have nothing better to do, so they go online (most often without parental supervision) and get into mischief there. And regarding your question about the IP addresses, you are correct that they can mask their IP, but it is those mask IPs we often block, so that they have a harder time of getting through. I don't want to discuss it in detail on a public talk page, though. They might learn something we would prefer they didn't know.
