United Nations General Assembly

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by 1990'sguy (talk | contribs) at 02:27, September 25, 2017. It may differ significantly from current revision.

The General Assembly is the main deliberative body of the United Nations.[1] It consists of representatives of all member states, one vote per nation.

A simple majority is usually required to pass resolutions, but a two-thirds majority is required for significant decisions, such as security, admission of new members and budget.
