Muse

The Muses are a group of nine goddesses in Greek Mythology which are associated the arts and inspiration for those wishing to contribute to the arts. According to Hesiod's Theogony, they are the children of Zeus and Mnemosyne. The Muses do not have direct analogs in Roman Mythology.
