Crius was the Titan-god of mastery, leadership and the constellations in ancient Greek mythology. Often associeated with the constellation Crios (Roman Ares) - the Ram - which lead the other constellations across the heavens. With three of his brothers (Coeus, Hyperion and Iapetus) Crius conspired with Cronus to depose their father Uranus. Uranus (the Sky) would descend each night to lie upon Gaia (the Earth), each standing at a corner of the cosmos they held Uranus firm whle Cronus emasculated him with a sickle.
