The Baltimore Orioles are a Major League Baseball team in the American League Eastern Division. The Baltimore Orioles are based in Baltimore, Maryland.
The Orioles were founded in 1893, as the Milwaukee, Wisconsin franchise in the minor Western League (later the American League).
