The father of medicine, Hippocrates, expressly prohibited abortion in his ethical Oath long before Christianity.
The Journal of Medical Ethics article declared concerning the atheist and sadist Marquis de Sade:

Not possessing a religious basis for morality, atheists are fundamentally incapable of having a coherent system of morality which is based on the worldview of atheism (see: Atheism and morality). The Barna Group found that atheists and agnostics in America were more likely, than theists in America, to look upon the following behaviors as morally acceptable: illegal drug use; excessive drinking; sexual relationships outside of marriage; abortion; cohabitating with someone of opposite sex outside of marriage; Profanity; gambling; pornography and obscene sexual behavior; and engaging in homosexuality/bisexuality.[3]

In August 2014, Richard Dawkins caused a firestorm by claiming an unborn baby with Down’s syndrome should be aborted and that it would be “immoral to bring it into the world.”[4] Dr. Michael Brown wrote in the Christian Post about this matter: "It is becoming increasingly clear that Dawkins is something of an embarrassment, even to other atheists (although he is still revered by many). The only question that remains is this: Are his irrational and immoral positions unique to him, or are they the logical outcome of his Darwinian evolutionism?"[5] See also: Social effects of the theory of evolution
A British father whose Down's syndrome daughter passed six General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) tests called Richard Dawkins an "ignorant idiot".[6]

Atheist PZ Myers is not only "pro-choice", but he said he is "even willing to say" that he is pro-abortion.[7]

Christian apologist Ken Ammi wrote in response to PZ Myers remarks concerning abortion:

Population control is based on pseudoscience and ill founded economic assumptions.[7]
