Environmental problems affecting the earth's population include pollution, epidemics and depletion of natural resources. Many environmentalists consider global warming the top issue, though this is disputed" (by many scientists, hence liberals changed the name to climate change.) "It is far less important than other social problems such as poverty, infectious diseases, deforestation, extinction of species on land and in the sea, not to mention war, nuclear weapons and biological weapons."[1]
