Jair Messias Bolsonaro (Campinas, March 21, 1955) is a brazilian military and conservative congressman. In its eighth consecutive term, Jair Bolsonaro is one of the most admired personalities and at the same time one of the most hated of Brazil. Bolsonaro is the most right-wing politician on the brazilian political spectrum, and for defending Christians, family, traditional and conservative values, was labeled by the Brazilian media as "Nazi"[1], "homophobic"[2], "racist"[3], "fascist"[4], "sexist"[5] and "white supremacist".

When he was elected for the first time, Bolsonaro was a nationalist defender of big government, protectionist and contrary to the free market and fiscal conservatism. Over the years, Bolsonaro was evolving and increasingly taking the right-wing positions. Today is one of the few Brazilian politicians advocating a limited government and a free economy without bureaucracy.

Another accusation that usually fall on Jair Bolsonaro is of the neo-nepotism due to the fact that the deputy has three sons in politics. Carlos Bolsonaro (councilor of Rio de Janeiro), Flávio Bolsonaro (state deputy from Rio de Janeiro), both also from the PP, and Eduardo Bolsonaro (federal police and federal deputy from Sao Paulo), of the PSC. These have very similar ideas of Jair, however, have thought himself and disagree with the father in some ways.

Bolsonaro is trying to be a candidate for president of Brazil in 2018[6], I had tried in 2014, but the leaders of his party decided, anti-democratic, supporting the Marxist government of Dilma Rousseff. Among the presidential proposals Jair Bolsonaro are closing unnecessary ministries (such as Ministry of Finance, which keeps the government in control of the economy, and the Defense Ministry, which puts the military subordination to political), the reduction of state in all its spheres, the free market, homeschooling, the neutral point of view in schools, private health, the end of gun control, the prohibition of same-sex marriage and family planning.
