The People's Daily World was an official Communist Party USA newspaper published by the Pacific Publishing Foundation, Inc., San Francisco, California. Branches located in Los Angeles, Oakland, San Diego, Seattle, and Washington, D.C. The executive editor was Al Richmond; assistant editor, Adam Lapin; Los Angeles editor, Sidney Burke; business manager, Harry Kramer; and circulation manager, Leo Baroway. Doug Ward, political editor. Tara Jean Pettit was the agent in Los Angeles.[1]

It was merged with the Daily Worker in 1987 until 1991 when it became the People's Weekly World.
