Marco Antonio Rubio (born May 28, 1971, Miami, Florida) is the junior United States Senator from Florida. A Roman Catholic of Cuban descent, Rubio is a conservative Republican and previously served as Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives from 2007 through 2009.
