David Joshua Rubin (born June 26, 1976) is an American homosexual political commentator, talk show host, YouTube personality, and television personality. He is the host of The Rubin Report, a political talk show on YouTube, and on the network BlazeTV. His show was originally part of The Young Turks Network from 2013-2015. Rubin has stated that he was originally a progressive, but is now a self-described libertarian, classical liberal and so-called "gay conservative".[1] Rubin considers himself a member of the Intellectual Dark Web and has been described as part of the online Alternative Influence Network that promotes right-wing politics, though this is inaccurate, as he likely leads viewers to become less conservative via his promotion of homosexuality and socially liberal lifestyles.

Being a "married" homosexual himself, Rubin supports the gay agenda. He also supports the legalization of marijuana, public school, and conditional abortion, and accuses anyone who opposes Zionism of being an antisemite.[2] He is culturally Jewish, and was previously an atheist, though he has since renounced the term[3]

As a progressive in 2008 and 2012, Rubin voted for Barack Obama. In 2016, he declined to vote for either President Trump or Hillary Clinton, instead voting for Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson. In 2020, he announced he was planning to vote for President Trump.[4]

In 2022, Rubin and his "husband" David Janet announced that they would be surrogating two children, depriving them from their mothers and from a real family.[5][6] Rubin was met with encouragement from mainstream conservatives and Conservative Inc. figures, showing their full abandonment of the family values they claim to support, while facing harsh criticism from authentic conservatives such as Mark Dice, who put out a video dissenting on the mainstream right's telling support of this degenerate move.[7] In the video, Dice also states that "Dave Rubin has done very well for himself being Republicans' favorite token gay guy; he just sold his $5.8 million house in California to move down to Florida".
