The Kab Elias massacre occurred on 15 January 1976.

On 15 January 1976, Palestinians assaulted Kab Elias, a Christian-Muslim village in the Bekka, in Lebanon. Sixteen Christians were killed and 23 injured. The exodus of Christians to Zahle, East Beirut and Jouniya began.
Palestinian emissaries came on January 15, 1976, roused the Mohammedans of Kab - Elias against the "disbelievers" with whom they have coexisted for several generations.
